I must have been 16 that May morning when, having ordered a café crème at Café de Flore (I don’t drink coffee! I wanted to be like everyone else), I understood why Paris is the city of lovers. It’s not just its monuments or its cobblestone streets, but those little things: the clinking of cups on the terraces, the aroma of fresh bread wafting from the bakeries in the early morning, or the knowing smile of a waiter when you order a café crème “like the Parisians.”

We opened a bottle of champagne and he told us about the different bridges: the Pont des Arts (the one with the padlocks, even though they've been removed), the Pont Neuf (the oldest, despite its name), and the Pont Alexandre III, "the most romantic, with its candelabra-shaped lampposts."

Pink Citroën 2CV (€69/person)
Why? A ride in a 2CV is retro, chic, and fun! Your driver-guide will take you to the most romantic neighborhoods (Montmartre, Île Saint-Louis, etc.).
